The TO53R drum seedline includes the RME tray filler as shown above and also a high quality drum seeding unit capable of running at about 600 trays per hour. After being filled the tray is dibbled and then seeded. A unique feature is the quick change drums and also the seed hopper which moves from side to side to agitate the seed. After seed is picked up the blow off bar separates doubles and also a hammer can be used to help remove any remaining doubles. After seed is dropped each hole is cleaned by a high pressure blow out system.

Seed drums are aluminium with stainless steel inserts for each hole which are sized for the crops being seeded.
