New for 2021, this 48 cell stacking tray holds 48 individual 40mm diameter Ellepots.

A 40mm wide Ellepot is the perfect size for propagating many types of forestry, landscape, woody ornamental and native plants.

This size of Ellepot can then be easily stepped up to an even larger Ellepot (such as an 80mm or 100mm). A hole is drilled in the larger Ellepot and the 40mm is simply slotted in, making stepping up a very quick and efficient operation.

One of the key concepts with the Ellepot/Proptek system is how compatible with automation it is. Serious time and money efficiency savings can be made throughout the whole growing process, right from filling, to sorting & grading, and to shipping out of the door.

The optimum height Ellepot for this container is 93 mm (3.6”).

The Ellepot supports the growing media and holds it together while the roots are growing, meaning they can be moved or transplanted far sooner than in traditional systems. The Ellepots are held in such a way by the tray that enough air movement is allowed for great aeration and drainage and incredible ‘air pruning’ of the root system.

Unique, patented water saving feature within each cell helps to reduce water consumption when using overhead irrigation systems.

Once the plants are grown to the desired size, the Ellepot  can be removed, packaged and sent to the field or customer without any plastic leaving the nursery, helping to ensure containers never go missing. This also helps with disease management, as you aren’t bringing any contaminated containers back to the nursery.

Can be effectively steam sterilised with no negative effects on the life of tray.

1 Full truck loads can fit more trays per pallet as a dedicated full size 53ft lorry is used for delivery. For partial truck loads, we cannot guarantee the height of the lorry, so pallets must fit into all commercial freight vehicles. If arranging your own transport, please advise us at the earliest opportunity on the internal height of your vehicle.

2 Trays are stacked loose or partly loose to get the maximum number of trays per container. This will result in lower unit shipping cost but also more labor to unload
